ABOUT E.T. THE EXTRA TERRESTRIAL

​

n the 1982 movie E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, a gentle alien is accidentally stranded on Earth. He is found by a 10-year-old boy named Elliott. Elliott, his brother, and his sister hide the alien, name him E.T., and build a deep emotional bond with him. After E.T. falls ill and government agents quarantine the house, E.T. seemingly dies, but then revives. He escapes with the kids on flying bicycles and returns home to his spaceship.
